Biography: Dr Bourke
Dr Bourke is a geomorphologist who specialises in hazards associated with landslides, floods, aeolian systems and rock breakdown.
She leads the Earth and Planetary Surface Process Group in the Department of Geography. She is President of the Irish Geomorphology Group, Chair of the international Working group on Planetary Geomorphology and Director of the TCD Natural Hazards group.
She has published on Natural Hazards in Antarctica, Australia, Namibia, Ireland, the USA and Mars.
